Frequently asked questions.

What exactly is permanent jewelry?

It’s a forever piece of dainty jewelry. We custom fit a chain to your wrist, neck, ankle or finger. We then use a welder for an easy and painless process. Instead of typical clasp closure we use a tiny jump ring to connect and weld the two ends of the chain, turning it into a "permanent" piece of jewelry. The jewelry is permanent until you decide to remove it. If need be you can cut it off with scissors or nail clippers. The first re-weld is always complimentary!

Does it hurt? Is it like a tattoo?

Permanent Jewelry does not hurt at all! Since the jewelry is welded together it does not touch your skin. We ensure you’re safe and comfortable the whole time. It’s similar to a tattoo in the sense that it’s “permanent” but you do not experience any pain and can remove the jewelry at any time.

What type of material is it?

We use the highest of qualities for the service including: sterling silver, gold filled, or solid gold. Sterling silver is 92.5% pure silver mixed with other metals to increase it’s durability, hardness, and strength. Gold filled ,not to be confused with gold plated, is a high quality and affordable option to solid gold. It has a significant solid layer of 14k-24k gold (5%) permanently bonded through heat to a metal base. Gold-filled jewelry supplies are a lifetime product because the gold layer bonded to the brass/sterling silver core is quite thick. If taken care of, gold-filled jewelry can last as long as solid gold.

Does it tarnish?

Sterling silver, gold filled, and solid gold jewelry can last a lifetime if taken care of properly. It’s recommended that after you sweat and get out of the pool or ocean, that you use diluted soap and water to gently scrub the jewelry. Then pat it dry and use a jewelry polishing cloth. This will ensure that your jewelry stays looking brand new!

How long will it last?

Weeks, months, years, a lifetime. This is dependent solely on your lifestyle, job and other external factors. If your permanent bracelet breaks or stretches, we will do our best to repair it for you. We always offer the first re-weld complimentary if you need to remove it for any reason. While these are permanent, they are not infallible. Therefore, please take into consideration your occupation and lifestyle before purchasing a permanent bracelet!

Do you offer repairs or adjustments?

Yes! If you need a repair or an adjustment book an appointment online or find us at any of our future events. First repair or adjustment is complimentary! After that all repairs and adjustments are $15.

What happens if it breaks or gets Lost?

If your jewelry breaks for any reason get in touch with us! We will inspect the chain before re-welding it on you and make sure there are no issues with the chain. The first re-weld is always complimentary. After that re-welds or repairs are $15. Unfortunately if your jewelry is lost, a new chain will need to be purchased as replacement.

What about an MRI or X-Ray?

We recommend that you speak with your doctor and ask if you will need to remove you permanent jewelry during your X-ray or MRI appointment. If you are required to remove your permanent jewelry, simply cut the jewelry at the jump ring using scissors or nail clippers. Store everything including the jump ring in a zip-lock bag. We will gladly re-weld it on you! First reweld is complimentary and then $15 after that! Book an appointment with us online or find us at any of our future events.

What if I change my mind after the service?

All sales are final, once we custom fit, cut the chain and place it on you for welding.
